bringing the benefits of infant massage to a global audience
Chickabiddies Online Centre for Baby Massage is being developed by Dr Shirley Zipperlen PhD, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage(IAIM). Shirley discovered baby massage in 2001, when she attended an IAIM course in the UK with her newborn daughter Gaia. "It was such a lovely way of connecting with my baby, a really special time for both of us" she said. Shirley has been busy having babies and massaging them since then and is now a proud mother of three: Gaia (6), Miranda (3) and Baby Jesse (6 months). She has found massage a fantastic way of connecting with her children and is keen to promote and share this skill with parents across the globe.
